Brisbane Broncos coach Wayne Bennett says that the talk of returning Melbourne Storm fullback Billy Slater playing in the State of Origin later this year is unrealistic.
Bennett says that it is not realistic to be talking about Slater in a representative sense.
He adds that Slater’s return is about him playing some football to see where his game is after a long recovery.
He went on to say that Slater poses no threat at all to Broncos fullback Darius Boyd.
The Broncos take on the Storm at 9.05 tonight.
