Skipper Cup: Nadi beat Suva 17-12

Nadi has defeated Suva 17-12 in round 9 of the Skipper Cup competition at the Prince Charles Park today.

Nadi led at half-time 10-5.

Nadi captain Jolame Luvevou says the team had prepared well for today's game because they knew Suva would give them a good game.

Luvevou says the victory today resulted in their dedication throughout the week.

He says now they will prepare for the game against Naitasiti next week.

Meanwhile, the Suva U20 beat Nadi 37-24, and Suva thrashed Nadi 51-15 in the ANZ Marama competition.

Coming up tomorrow, Naitasiri will play Ba at Ratu Cakobau Park, Yasawa will host Namosi at Nacula Ground, Macuata will face Tailevu, and Nadroga will meet Lautoka at Lawaqa Park.

All games will be held at 3pm tomorrow.

In the ANZ Marama competition, Naitasiri will face Navosa, Yasawa will meet Namosi, Nasinu will play Tailevu, and Nadroga will take on Lautoka.
