Skipper Cup: Ba coach calls for improved performance ahead of Naitasiri clash

Ba needs to lift their performance as they prepare to face Naitasiri in the last round of the Skipper Cup this weekend.

Speaking to fijivillage Sports, Ba manager Pita Matakitoga highlighted this saying that Naitasiri is a strong side that currently sits at the top of the table.

Matakitoga says they must improve their backline and forwards to match their opponents.

He says the team resumed training on Monday after their game against Vatukoula, focusing on improving set pieces, tactics, and overall game plan.

Matakitoga also expresses his gratitude to the team’s sponsors, Vinod Patel and Fiji Pine, for their continued support.

Ba takes on Naitasiri at 3pm Saturday at Vinod Patel Ground in Ba.

Meanwhile, in the U20 Skipper Cup, Ba plays Naitasiri at 1pm at the same venue.
