Cronulla coach Shane Flanagan has embraced the underdog status for Sunday’s highly‑anticipated NRL Grand Final against Melbourne.
The Sharks will start as slight outsiders against the Storm at ANZ Stadium ‑ a position Flanagan said the minor premiers deserved given their dominance over the past decade.
When asked if Melbourne were favorites to claim the title, Flanagan said without a doubt.
The NRL grand final will played between Storm and the Sharks at 8.15pm this Sunday.
