Secretary of Super Deans Competition urges viewers not to look at the times on TV

The Secretary for the Vodafone Super Deans Secondary Schools Competition, Waisake Tuicakau has urged people not to look at the times that are displayed on television during the games since most of the times, the running time viewed on TV does not stop when the referee stops the game.

This is after concerns were raised by some people that more than 10 minutes in extra time was given in the semifinal clash between Cuvu College and Ratu Kadavulevu School in the Under 18 grade.

Tuicakau says that the people must understand they have their own time keeper and when the referee stops the game, their time keeper also stops his time.

We are also currently trying to find out if the official time will be clearly displayed at the game venue.

In the Under 18 grade Deans final, RKS will face QVS at 4.30pm Saturday.

RKS will take on Suva Grammar School in the Under 14 grade final at 8.20am, RKS will face QVS in the Under 15 grade final at 9.35am and in Under 16 grade final, RKS will play QVS at 11am.

In he Under 17 grade final, Suva Grammar School will play QVS at 12.25pm while St John's College will face Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute at 2pm in the Under 19 grade final.

The Super Deans finals will be held at Lawaqa Park.
