Fiji‑born Brisbane‑raised Samu Kerevi may be playing his last Super Rugby match at home when the Queenslanders will host the Blues tonight at Suncorp Stadium.

Kerevi has been strongly linked to a move to Suntory in Japan’s Top League from January, after this year’s World Cup.

The 27-year-old has made a name for him in the Super Rugby Competition as the player with the most carries with 187 carries and also the second most off-loader with 20 offloads.

He has been with the club for six year and took over the captaincy since the starting of this years Super Rugby season.

Meanwhile, the Blues will enter tonight’s must‑win encounter without four of their biggest players.

All Blacks Sonny Bill Williams, Rieko Ioane, Patrick Tuipulotu and Karl Tu'inukuafe will all miss the trip to Brisbane.

Williams was due to return from a knee injury this week, as he was given Wednesday's training session to confirm his availability, but delivered bad news to coach Leon MacDonald.

Ma'a Nonu was due to start on the bench this week, but has now been promoted to the starting line‑up.

Ioane and Tuipulotu are both victims of the All Blacks rest policy.

The Reds will take on the Blues at 9.45 tonight, while the Highlanders will face the Bulls at 7.35 tonight.

In tomorrow’s games, the Crusaders will host the Rebels at 7.35pm while the Waratahs will face the Brumbies at 9.45pm.
