Manu Samoa are taking plenty of lessons on board from last weekend's 19‑all draw against Georgia in Apia.
Hurricanes hooker Motu Matu'u says they went into the match feeling confident and it was disappointing not to come away with the win.
The home side fielded nine debutants but senior internationals like Tusi Pisi, Census Johnston and Faifili Levave have joined the team in Suva this week and will play against the Flying Fijians.
Motu Matu'u says they will need to be much better against Fiji, who came from behind to beat Tonga 23‑18 in the Pacific Nations Cup opener.
Fiji will take on Samoa at 3pm Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM.
Meanwhile Tonga will face Georgia at 1pm.
