19-year-old Fiji-born centre Sevuloni Reece is already making headlines in the highest level of New Zealand domestic professional rugby competition.

The former Queen Victoria School student plays for Waikato in the Mitre 10 Cup and scored two tries as Waikato drew 20-all with Taranaki to win the Ranfurly Shield.

Reece told Fijivillage that he wants to play for New Zealand in either fifteens or sevens.

In the past year, Reece has been having discussions with the Fiji Under rugby 20 team and the Fiji Warriors.

At the same time, there have been initial talks with officials from the New Zealand Rugby Union.

Sevuloni Reece was part of the QVS Under 18 team that lost to Ratu Navula College in the 2013 Deans final.

He played fullback and was 16-years-old at the time.

Reece then got a full scholarship to study and play for Hamilton Boys' High School in New Zeland.
