The Fiji Airways Fijiana have defeated the Queensland Reds Women’s team 29-10 last night.
Fijiana 7s rep Lavenia Tinai scored a double while Rusila Nagasau, Aloesi Nakoci and Akosita Ravato scored a try each.
Rugby.com.au reports the Fijiana showed their ability to play with the same attacking flair as their male counterparts, notching a 100 metres try in the match.
A through-the-legs pass from captain Sereima Leweniqilia highlighted a movement that ended with fullback Nakoci running 80 metres to score.
The Fijiana will play the Waratahs Women's team at 7.30 pm this Friday.
