The Melbourne Rebels have a burning desire to crack their first Super Rugby win of the season against the Highlanders in Dunedin.
The winless Rebels have delivered promising first halves in their past two matches, only to fall away when it counts, with the Chiefs and then the NSW Waratahs reaping the rewards.
Melbourne coach Tony McGahan said the team would not be satisfied with anything less than an 80-minute performance.
They have taken hard-hitting Wallaby Lopeti Timani in the hope the lock might play after being sidelined since a round-two knee injury.
The Highlanders meet the Rebels at 6.35 tonight, the Blues face Western Force at 4.15pm tomorrow, the Chiefs clash with the Bulls at 6.35pm tomorrow and the Waratahs will face the Crusaders at 6.05pm Sunday.
