Arsenal Midfielder Aaron Ramsey has signed a pre‑contract agreement to join Juventus in the summer in a deal that will earn him over 400,000 pounds a week.
The 28‑year‑old has agreed a four‑year contract that will see him join the Italian champions as a free agent, ending his 11‑year spell with Arsenal.
He will become the highest‑earning British player ever based on basic salary.
Ramsey’s Arsenal contract expires on the 30th of June and Arsenal will receive no fee when he leaves.
Ramsey joined Arsenal from Cardiff City in 2008 for a fee of around 4.8 million pounds.
Meanwhile, in the English Premier League this morning, Wolves will take on Newcastle at 8am.
