South Sydney Rabbitohs have managed an incredible come-from-behind victory over the Brisbane Broncos, defeating their opponents 22-14 after staring down a 14-0 deficit at halftime.
It was truly a game of two halves, with the class of fullback and captain Latrell Mitchell proving to be the difference between the two sides as he dominated the second half with a 14-point haul.
The Broncos managed the first try of the contest after 15 minutes through Jordan Riki, who was the beneficiary of a cross-field bomb from Ben Hunt.
Rabbitohs started the second half strongly, opening their account for the game through Siliva Havili with a close-range burrowing effort from dummy half to catch the Brisbane defenders napping.
They were ultimately successful, with Mitchell launching a monster two-point field goal from just past halfway to put his side ahead with two minutes remaining.
In other results, the Titans defeated the Knights 24-20.
