Playing against Fiji often feels like getting run over by a bus - Welsh Captain
Wales Captain Luke Treharne

Fiji’s pool opponents, Wales says when you play Fiji, you feel like you have been run over by a bus but you have to get yourself moving again and be ready to play.

Wales Captain Luke Treharne says that he believes that his young squad are still not at the level where they need to be and they are looking for bigger improvements this weekend in Las Vegas.

The newly qualified doctor says that adjustment has been tough for Wales' newcomers, especially when they meet teams such as Fiji.

Following their last encounter in Hamilton, Treharne says that playing against Fiji is always eye opening, physical and mentally draining.

Fiji will face Scotland in their first match of the Las Vegas 7s at 11.22am this Saturday, they will then face Wales at 2.23pm on the same day. Fiji will then face Australia at 7.52am on Sunday.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 1.46pm Sunday, semifinals will start at 9.12am Monday and the Cup final will kick off at 12.30pm on the same day.
