Joseph Parker has flicked the switch of an angry Anthony Joshua and fireworks are tipped for a press conference next week to announce their heavyweight unification fight.
That's the word from Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn as he continues to make rapid progress with Duco Boxing boss David Higgins over the final details of the fight contract.
Parker is readying to fly to London for what is shaping to be an explosive first‑up face‑to‑face meeting.
The fight looks likely for March 31 in Cardiff's Principality Stadium, the first huge bout of 2018 and the next step to finding one true heavyweight champion.
Joshua fronts with his WBA and IBF belts and Parker puts up his WBO title. The winner walks away with all three and that leaves just American Deontay Wilder's WBC title to come into the mix.
