Fiji's iconic beer brand, Fiji Bitter, will be featured on the front-left side of the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua shorts as Paradise Beverages Fiji Limited today extended their sponsorship for another 2 years.

Paradise Beverages General Manager Mike Spencer says through their brand Fiji Bitter, they have been sponsoring rugby in Fiji for 46 years.

He says their focus has been primarily on grassroots rugby, sponsoring local 7s tournaments to develop skills for some players, who go on to represent Fiji on the world stage.

Spencer says they are very excited and proud to extend their sponsorship for the Drua.

Drua CEO Brian Thorburn says they are delighted and honoured for the sponsorship as the Fijian Drua will be the first Fijian team to participate in Super Rugby.

The Fijian Drua will have two trial matches.

The first trial match is against Western Force on the 30th of this month while the second trial match is against the Rebels in Melbourne on 10th February 2022.

They will play the Highlanders on April 30th at the ANZ Stadium in Suva while their opening round game is against the Waratahs on Friday 18th February.
