Pacific Games: Deborah Bulai wins gold in 4kg hammer throw

Deborah Bulai has won gold in the 4kg hammer throw at the Pacific Games

Team Fiji’s Deborah Bulai has won gold in the 4kg hammer throw at the Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands this afternoon.

Bulai says her game plan was to win, and she has achieved that.

She acknowledges the support from her family, friends and coaches, who have been supporting her in her athletics career.

Bulai says the experiences she has gone through have motivated her to keep going.

Meanwhile, Fiji is currently 5th in the Pacific Games medal tally with 13 gold, 17 silver and 17 bronze.

New Caledonia is leading with 63 gold, 41 silver and 39 bronze, while Australia is in second place with 29 gold, 19 silver and 11 bronze.
