Over 250 swimmers are in Fiji to participate in the Ocean Swim Fiji-Stay and Swim 2025.

Tourism Fiji say this unique event, hosted across some of Fiji’s most breathtaking resorts and islands, blends competitive open-water swimming with luxury hospitality and world-famous Fijian culture.

They say Ocean Swim Fiji brings significant economic and tourism benefits to the nation, with five days of activity spread across Denarau Island, Malamala Beach Club and Tivua Island.

Tourism Fiji also highlighted that the event promotes Fiji not only as a world-class swim destination but also as the ideal location for active holidays, family travel, and international events.

They add that some international stars will join the swim this year’s event will be extra special, with three high-profile Kiwi personalities joining the swim and soaking up the Fijian experience.

Meanwhile, Dame Sophie Pascoe, New Zealand’s greatest Paralympian, will attend as a special guest.

The event is currently underway, and it will conclude on Friday.
