The Fiji women's sevens team is expecting plenty of support as they kick off their campaign in the Sydney 7s today.
After finishing fifth at the opening leg in Dubai in December, Telecom Fijiana coach Iliesa Tanivula says their goal is to reach the semi finals in Sydney.
Tanivula has named a strong team for the Sydney 7s.
It includes captain Ana Maria Roqica, Merewai Cumu, Raijeli Daveua, Rusila Nagasau, Lavenia Tinai, Pricilla Siata, Ana Maria Naimasi, Timaima Ravisa, Talica Vodo, Miriama Naiobasali and Viniana Riwai.
This is the first year Sydney has hosted a Women's World Series event.
The Fijiana will face Ireland, Brazil and Olympic champions Australia in pool play.
Fijiana will face Ireland in their first match at 2.14pm today.
