Vodafone Fiji 7s forward Kalione Nasoko believes the national side is building up and the bond within the team has grown much stronger.
Nasoko is aiming for another strong outing at the Paris 7s this weekend after stamping his mark at the Hong Kong 7s last month, winning the Player of the Tournament Award.
He says he will need to improve on his ball retention at the restarts and improve his communication on the field.
Coach Gareth Baber is impressed with the level of confidence showed by Nasoko, youngster Mesulame Kunavula, utility back and forward Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Setareki Bituniyata.
Meanwhile, the national side has recovered well from their long flight to Paris and have started their training again.
Fiji will play Samoa in their first pool game of the Paris 7s at 8pm this Saturday.
Our second pool game is against Russia at 11.26pm Saturday and our final pool match is against Australia at 3.14am Sunday.
The medal quarterfinals will start at 8.28pm Sunday, the medal semifinals will be played at 12.18am Monday while the medal final will be played at 3.33am Monday.
