Waisake Naholo could feature for the All Blacks against Argentina this week after coach Steve Hansen was forced to rest Ben Smith.
Hansen also created a vacancy on the flanker with Sam Cane in the doubtful category with injury.
Naholo will be competing with Israel Dagg and Nehe Milner‑Skudder a capable queue of right wing contenders who are all part of the squad while Ardie Savea would be the logical starter in Cane's absence.
The All Blacks will take on Argentina at 7.35pm this Saturday while the Wallabies will face the Springboks at 10pm.
