After his stellar performance in his debut season for the Melbourne Storm last year, the NRL has predicted that Suliasi Vunivalu will have another top season with the Storm.
Vunivalu made his debut in round 7, and went on to become the competitions top try scorer.
Vunivalu who played 21 games scored 23 tries last season which included 5 doubles, two hat-tricks and one four try haul and there are expectations that he will once again lead the try scoring charts.
While Vunivalu has established himself as one of the top players in the Storm side, another rookie Fijian will be looking to have a similar impact.
Tui Kamikamica says seeing Suliasi Vunivalu’s stellar debut for the Storm was a motivation and he hopes to have a similar impact in the team.
Meanwhile, Vunivalu is expected to feature for the Melbourne Storm in the NRL Auckland Nines next month.
