Murray to debut at openside flanker as Drua squad named to face the Crusaders

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua squad has been named to take on defending Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific Champions the Crusaders with a side that has remained largely the same and the debut of Fiji Under-20 captain Motikai Murray at openside flanker.

Holding their positions in the front row are Haereiti Hetet at loosehead prop, Mesake Doge at tighthead, and Tevita Ikanivere starting hooker.

A change to the second row sees Isoa Nasilasila this week partner with Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta while Vilive Miramira moves to blindside flanker position with Murray making his debut on the openside and Captain Meli Derenalagi at number 8.

Frank Lomani at halfback pairs up once again with Caleb Muntz at flyhalf.

Kalaveti Ravouvou remains on the left wing to partner with Selestino Ravutaumada who moves back to right wing while Teti Tela remains at inside centre with Iosefo Masi at outside centre and Ilaisa Droasese is back to complete the starting 15 at fullback.

On the bench, Zuriel Togiatama is cover for hooker, Meli Tuni is loosehead cover and Samuela Tawake is replacement tighthead prop.

Etonia Waqa will cover the middle row, while Elia Canakaivata is the back up loose forward.

Peni Matawalu (21) will come off the bench as replacement halfback, while Michael Naitokani and Eroni Sau will cover the backline.

The Drua will battle the Crusaders at 7.05pm Saturday at Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch.
