Fiji 7s player Sevuloni Moceinacagi is recovering well from the toe injury he sustained prior to the Dubai 7s last weekend.
He suffered the injury while the team was training in Doha before the Dubai 7s.
Vodafone Fiji 7s team Interim coach Nacani Cawanibuka says Moceinacagi has started training with the team and will also be available for selection.
He says apart from Moceinacagi there are no other injury concerns in the team that would lead to a player being ruled out.
The names of the players that will compete in the Cape Town 7s will be released tomorrow.
The Vodafone Fiji 7s team is pooled with France, Kenya and Japan in the Cape Town 7s.
Fiji will play Japan at 11.05pm Saturday, they will then play Kenya at 2.26am Sunday and Fiji’s final pool match is against France at 6.12am Sunday.
The Cup quarterfinals will begin at 11.04pm Sunday, the semifinals will start at 3.34am Monday and the final will be played at 6.44am Monday.
