Crusaders No 10 Mitch Hunt is a strong chance of being a Highlander next year.
Stuff.co.nz reports Hunt is close to agreeing on a multi‑year deal with the Dunedin franchise after finding his game time limited in Christchurch due to the presence of All Blacks Richie Mo'unga and Brett Cameron.
Highlanders No 10 Marty Banks is off contract at the end of the Super Rugby campaign.
The Crusaders meet the Sharks at 7.35 tonight.
