It was a memorable debut for Setareki Bituniyata at the Dubai 7s as he was named in the dream team after his stellar performance for the Vodafone Fiji 7s team.
Interim coach Nacani Cawanibuka had earlier said that Bituniyata is one of the fittest players in the team.
Team captain Osea Kolinisau and Jerry Tuwai were also included in the Dubai 7s dream team after guiding Fiji to the final where they lost to South Africa.
Other players that make up the dream team are South Africa’s Seabelo Senatla and Werner Kok, England’s Ruaridh McConnochie and Wales Ethan Davies.
Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji 7s team is pooled with France, Kenya and Japan in the Cape Town 7s.
Fiji will play Japan at 11.05pm Saturday, they will then play Kenya at 2.26am Sunday and Fiji’s final pool match is against France at 6.12am Sunday.
The Cup quarter finals will begin at 11.04pm Sunday, the semi-finals will start at 3.34am Monday and the final will be played at 6.44am Monday.
