Melbourne Storm heads into NRL preliminary finals as 'favorites'
Storm winger Suliasi Vunivalu

The Melbourne Storm will head into this weekend’s NRL preliminary finals as the favorites having won both games they played this season.

Storm winger Suliasi Vunivalu had a mixed encounter against the Eels last two weeks, he made some uncharacteristic errors and didn’t carry with the usual venom that was expected from him.

Vunivalu bagged a double the last time these two sides met and he will be looking to bounce back and rediscover his try‑scoring ways.

Meanwhile the Broncos had a total of seven injuries from last week including their star winger Corey Oates, Sam Thaiday, Korbin Sims and Darius Boyd.

The Storm will host the Broncos at 9.55pm Friday while the Roosters will take on the Cowboys at 9.40pm Saturday.
