Conor McGregor insists he will "flatten" Floyd Mayweather inside two rounds when the pair meet in their eagerly‑anticipated showdown on Sunday morning.
The 29‑year old, who is a two‑weight UFC champion, is confident he will defeat Mayweather at the T‑Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, but hopes the undefeated pound‑for‑pound star proceeds with claims he will meet the Irishman in the centre of the ring.
McGregor says that respect for him is earned through battle.
Mayweather’s recent knockout victory was in 2011 while Conor McGregor was last year.
Mayweather and McGregor fight is scheduled to start around 3pm Sunday.
