Newly signed wing Manasa Mataele will make his debut for Crusaders in the Brisbane Global Tens tournament next week.
Fiji‑born wing Manasa Mataele will get to play alongside his uncle Setareki Tamanivalu at Suncorp Stadium next Saturday and Sunday.
The 19-year-old represented the Taranaki Sevens and Under 19 teams before he was offered a National Provincial Championship contract for 2016.
Meanwhile, former Queen Victoria School student 19-year-old Sevuloni Reece has also been selected to play for the Chiefs in the Brisbane Tens.
Brisbane Global Rugby Tens will see the star players of all ten Australian and New Zealand Super Rugby clubs and four elite invitational teams from across the world including Toulon, the Blue Bulls, Samoa and the Panasonic Wild Knights.
They will compete over two days in a ten‑players‑per‑side, ten‑minutes per‑half, knockout tournament.
