Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has asked English Premier League players join him in a pledge to donate 1% of their salary to charity.
Six players have so far joined the campaign, but no others from England's top‑flight and no English players are among them.
However, Mata hopes some of his Manchester United team‑mates will soon also be keen to get on board.
Mata reportedly earns 7 million pounds a year.
United will play Liverpool at 11.30pm tomorrow.
