A massive season awaits the Fiji Airways Mens 7s team as coach Gareth Baber lays out his plan to win the 2017/2018 World Sevens Series, a Gold Medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the aim to win the World Cup Sevens title next July.
Judging from the pool of players in his current squad, Baber looks comfortable ahead of the new season with the depth of talent he will work with this season.
The inclusion of the Drua players and the development of his new players is looking promising so far.
Baber says a lot of work will be done ahead of this season.
The national side continues their preparations at the Uprising Beach Resort training camp before they leave our shores on Saturday.
Last year, Fiji lost to South Africa 26-14 in the final of the Dubai 7s.
This year they are pooled with Russia, Wales and Australia.
The Dubai 7s will be held from the 1st to the 3rd of next month.
