Malolo creates history, defeats Nadi to reach Skipper final for the first time

Giant slayers Malolo have created history by defeating Nadi in the Skipper Cup semi final, securing s spot in the grand final for the first time ever.

Malolo crossed the white wash first to score the first try of the game in the 21st minute through blindside winger Tomasi Tawake.

Immanuel Bari scored Malolo second try to extend their lead 14-0.

Nadi nippy scrum half Aporosa Derenalagi responded and scored Nadis second try.

In the 40th minute Malolo half back Simeli scored to extend their lead 21-5.

In the second half Nadi scored the first try through Adrian Senei.

Malolo fly-half Viliame Nalolo broke the Nadi defence and scored their first try of the second half to extend their lead 28-12

Peninsula Malumu reserve hooker scored nadis second try in the second half to narrow the deficit 19- 28

Tevita Ledua of Malolo kicked a penalty a converted it extending their lead 31 -19.

Malolo will face the winner of the second semi final between Naitasiri and Tailevu.
