Vodafone Fiji 7s team veteran wing Joeli Lutumailagi believes that he still has the speed and power to make the final team for the Dubai 7s.
Lutumailagi who scored a try in Fiji’s victory against Samoa in the Oceania 7s final over the weekend told Fijivillage that it has been four years since he last wore the white jersey.
The 31-year-old was outstanding in the two-day tournament showing his strength and speed to score some brilliant individual tries.
The team for Dubai 7s will be named at the end of this week.
Coach Nacanieli Cawanibuka says others players will join them and no spot is guaranteed.
Meanwhile, captain Osea Kolinisau is currently in London to attend the World Rugby Awards which will be held today.
The Dubai 7s will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of next month.
