Frank Lomani scores against Georgia

Melbourne Rebels and Fiji Airways Flying Fijians halfback Frank Lomani will have his plate full when he will go up against Tongan star halfback Sonatane Takulua in their last test match at Churchill Park this afternoon.

Lomani played in the second half against Georgia last week and scored two tries before setting up one for Semi Radradra.

His ability to spot the gaps and quick delivery of the ball to allow free flowing rugby has earned himself a starting spot this week.

The 22-year-old says that he has learned a lot from Wallabies scrum-half Will Genia after signing a contract with the Rebels this year.

His opponent, Takulua has an advantage with the experience of 27 test matches and has been Tonga’s heart beat in their recent  past few games.

Lomani will be playing his fifth test match.

The Flying Fijians will take on Tonga at 3pm today at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary on Viti FM.
