As the Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team pick up the intensity in training this week, Captain Jerry Tuwai says the level of competition among players in the team is at an all time high.
He says players that played for the Fiji Airways Drua are giving the regulars in the team a good run.
Eroni Sau and John Stewart are two Drua players proving their worth in the side.
The national side continues their preparations at the Uprising Beach Resort training camp before they leave our shores on Saturday.
Last year, Fiji lost to South Africa 26‑14 in the final of the Dubai 7s.
This year they are pooled with Russia, Wales and Australia.
The Dubai 7s will be held from the 1st to the 3rd of next month.
