The Chiefs trust their depth as Michael Leitch returns to face the Blues in Hamilton tonight.
He recovered in time to be fit enough for the bench in the Chiefs' 25‑9 semi‑final loss against the Hurricanes last July.
Leitch’s mother is from Nasukamai in Ra.
The Chiefs will host the Blues at 6.35 this afternoon.
In other matches tomorrow, the Hurricanes will host the Rebels at 4.15pm, the Highlanders will take on the Crusaders at 6.35pm, the Brumbies will meet the Sharks at 8.45pm while the Sunwolves will take on the Kings at 10.55pm.
