Fiji National Rugby League CEO Timoci Naleba has confirmed that Apisai Koroisau will still play for the Fiji Bati at the Battle of the Bati and the Rugby League World Cup in October.
This was after Koroisau was named by coach Mal Meninga to be part of the Australian Prime Minister’s 13 to take on Papua New Guinea Prime Minister’s 13 in Port Moresby next Saturday.
Naleba says Koroisau will be with the team in camp in September after returning from PNG.
Valentine Holmes, Andrew Fifita, Apisai Koroisau, Dylan Walker, Jack Bird and Paul Vaughan are the six debutants in the team.
In the NRL preliminary finals this week, the Broncos will take on the Panthers at 9.55 tonight while the Eels will take on the Cowboys at 9.40pm tomorrow.
