The Melbourne Rebels believe Marika Koroibete's big game experience in the NRL will mean he's right at home making his Super Rugby debut against defending champions the Hurricanes in Wellington this afternoon.
The flying Fijian was part of the Melbourne Storm's grand final line‑up last season before his cross‑code switch to the Rebels.
After missing their round one loss to the Blues, Koroibete set for a baptism of fire against the likes of All Blacks stars Beauden Barrett, Nehe Milner‑Skudder and Julian Savea but Rebels attack coach Morgan Turinui said he was up to it.
Hurricanes wing Julian Savea will be up against Koroibete.
The Hurricanes will host the Rebels at 4.15pm today.
In other matches, the Highlanders will take on the Crusaders at 6.35pm, the Brumbies will meet the Sharks at 8.45pm while the Sunwolves will take on the Kings at 10.55pm.
Meanwhile the Chiefs beat the Blues 41-26 while the Force defeated the Reds 26-19.
