Kerevi to feature for Reds in Brisbane Global tens
Samu Kerevi.

Fijian born Australian centre, Samu Kerevi is part of the quartet of Wallabies that will head a strong side for the Queensland Reds heading into the Brisbane Global tens.

Kerevi is named alongside prop James Slipper, lock Rob Simmons, and New Zealand‑born loose forward Leroy Houston in the Queensland side's squad, who will face the Blues, Crusaders and Samoa in pool play, alongside the wildcard inclusion of 41‑year‑old Chris Latham.

But there is no Quade Cooper as he is focusing on preparing for his third professional boxing fight. The 28‑year‑old will be taking on a to‑be‑determined opponent next week, on the undercard of Anthony Mundine and Danny Green's long‑awaited rematch at Adelaide Oval.

The squad features five capped Wallabies, 20 players with Super Rugby experience and six uncapped players.

Meanwhile, the 2017 Super Rugby season kicks off on the 23rd of next month with the Melbourne Rebels hosting the Blues.
