Kenya and Samoa have showed interest in former New Zealand rugby 7s coach Sir Gordon Tietjens.
Tietjens stepped down as All Blacks Sevens coach after the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
The Kenya Rugby chairman Richard Omwela is reported to have contacted Tietjens, but is yet to discuss with him the possibility of taking over as head coach.
Samoa have also expressed an interest in using Tietjens after they sacked Damien McGrath for failing to get the team to qualify for the Rio Games.
Tietjens has already said that he will not go back to full time coaching but can only do consultancy work.
