As the build up to the much anticipated middleweight title fight between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin, Triple G’s trainer Abel Sanchez has revealed that it will be impossible for Golovkin to lose to Canelo Alvarez this weekend.
Sanchez who has worked with unbeaten, three‑belt middleweight champion Golovkin for many years studied old videos of Alvarez and revealed that the Kazakh's presence will determine the outcome of Saturday’s bout.
He believes that Golovkin’s preparation and ring experience should outlast Alvarez’s reliance on youthful energy and power.
Sanchez says the key discipline to watch will be jab effectiveness.
Meanwhile both fighters are set to earn their biggest purse with Canelo Alvarez guaranteed US$15 million and could clear up to US$25 million depending on Pay Per View numbers.
Golovkin on the other hand will also get his biggest career payday and should clear anywhere between US$10 to US$15 million.
Gennady Golovkin will fight Carnelo Alvarez at 3pm this Sunday.
