Current Super Rugby champions the Hurricanes kick off the action this weekend at home in Wellington where they host South Africa’s Stormers.
The Hurricanes have won their last five matches but are third in the New Zealand Conference and sixth place overall.
The Stormers were unbeaten until a few rounds ago but they have now lost three matches in a row and their last two losses on tour in New Zealand have been big losses.
The Stormers loss to the Highlanders resulted in four key players sitting out the match against the Hurricanes, so they are now understrength and at the end of a long tour.
The Hurricanes have played the Stormers 17 times in Super Rugby and they have won 7 matches, lost 10 matches and drawn none.
The last Stormers victory in Wellington was in 2001.
The Hurricanes take on the Stormers at 7.35pm tonight.
