Will Avinesh Suwamy leave Ba in this player transfer window?
If yes, then this will be the biggest move as once known as Fiji’s David Beckham with his pin point accuracy from set pieces is no longer getting game time with the Ba soccer team.
The 31-year-old Ba stalwart most recently was not even listed in the Men in Black team for the Vodafone Premier League matches.
Suwamy was once offered hefty packages to move to other districts but he had then stated that he will never leave Ba and will retire with the black jersey.
Money has never been the motivating factor for him but at 31, Suwamy believes he still has a lot to offer in local soccer.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Avinesh Suwamy has not ruled out the possibility of joining another district stating that he just wants to play soccer.
There is some talk that he may move to Nadi.
Suwamy currently resides in Nadi which makes it difficult for him to train with Ba.
We have also spoken to the Ba Soccer Association who say they have a policy of fielding players who train with the side.
