Ireland forward Jack Conan has been ruled out for the rest of the Rugby World Cup due to injury.
Coach Joe Schmidt says Conan will be returning home on Sunday. Ireland is yet to name a replacement.
Also, fullback Rob Kearney failed a head injury assessment, and could be in doubt for their Pool A match against Russia this Thursday.
Ireland will face Russia at 10.15pm this Thursday.
