The stage is set for the FMF Inter-District Championship 2025 semi finals, as defending champions Labasa will face Ba, while Rewa will play Suva at the 4R Stadium in Govind Park, Ba, on Saturday.

In a tense Group B showdown, Rewa secured the top spot with a 2–2 draw against Ba, edging ahead on goal average and forcing the hosts to settle for second place.

Ba commanded the first half, with Nabil Begg opening the scoring, followed by a second from Faazil Faizul, giving the Men in Black a comfortable 2–0 lead heading into halftime.

The pressure was relentless in the second half, but Rewa refused to back down.

Patrick Joseph sparked the comeback with a well-taken penalty, and moments later, Tevita Waranaivalu scored the equaliser.

Rewa coach Priyant Manu says the team had a slow start and missed several chances due to silly mistakes.

He says the boys knew they would face challenges if they wanted to lift the trophy, so they regrouped and gave their best to come from behind and secure the equaliser in the second half.

He adds that the team will have a recovery day tomorrow and aim to deliver their best performance against Suva.

Labasa will take on Ba at 2pm, while Rewa will face Suva at 4.30pm on Saturday.

Meanwhile, in the Senior Division semi finals, Lami will face Dreketi while Rakiraki will play Bua.

Both matches will be held on Saturday at 10am.

All three division finals will be played on Sunday.

The Senior Division at 10am, the Premier Division at 12.30pm and the Super Premier Division at 3pm.
