Suva midfielder Malakai Rakula says he was certain he was going to score from the free kick in the Digicel Fiji FACT final against Labasa yesterday.

The 30-year-old gave Suva the lead in the first half with a sublime free kick which went over the Labasa wall and into the top corner.

Rakula says he was 100% sure that he would score.

Rakula also claimed the golden boot while Suva defender Inoke Turagalailai was named player of the tournament.

Samuela Drudru scored the second goal for Suva in the final to seal the 2-0 win.

However Suva finished the match with 9-men as Drudru and Anish Khem were both sent off.

Suva has received $17,000 while Labasa has been given $5,000.
