Nadroga fly half and Vodafone Fiji 7s playmaker Alivereti Veitokani says he never gave up on his dream after not making the 13 man squad to the Rio Olympics.
Veitokani was named in the 32 member extended squad and also the Telecom Fiji Warriors team to tour Uruguay next month.
Speaking to Fijivillage today, the 24-year-old says he continued working towards his dream.
Veitokani confirms he will not play against Navosa this weekend as he heads to Suva for the Fiji 7s fitness test ahead of the Dubai 7s.
Veitokani alongside Nemani Nagusa, Sevuloni Moceinacagi and Emosi Mulevoro are expected to make their comeback to national 7s team.
