England has named Fiji born Nathan Hughes in their 25 member squad to play against South Africa at Twickenham on Sunday.
Coach Eddie Jones has called upon the muscle of pacific islanders’ Hughes and Ben Te’o as England plot to end their 10‑year wait for a victory over South Africa.
With five open‑side flankers ruled out by injury, Hughes could be drafted in as the solution to England’s No 7 problem but Northampton’s Tom Wood is tipped to start.
Jones will name his side to face South Africa tomorrow for the first of four games in their end‑of‑year series.
Meanwhile Semesa Rokoduguni was dropped from the squad yesterday.
