Despite finishing with a silver medal at the Wellington 7s, the Vodafone Fiji 7s team have kept their heads held high as they pick out some positives from Wellington.
Coach Gareth Baber had said before the final that he was happy with what they have achieved.
Last night, Nadroga flyer and veteran winger Joeli Lutumailagi showed his speed as he outpaced Seabelo Senatla of South Africa.
Lutumailagi was the top try scorer in Wellington with eight tries as he found his sevens feet after missing six years from the international scene.
The national side is expected to fly out to Sydney today as they gear up for a sellout crowd in Sydney.
Fiji is pooled with Samoa, Wales and France in Pool B.
The Sydney 7s will be held this Saturday and Sunday.
Fiji will play Samoa in their first game at 11.36am Saturday, their second game is against Wales at 2.42pm before taking on France at 8.29pm in their last game.
