Vodafone Fiji Bati coach Mick Potter has poured cold water on suggestions his star playmaker is distracted as speculation about Jarryd Hayne's NRL future continues.
Hayne was at his inspirational best in Fiji's 72‑6 World Cup big win over Wales in Townsville last night.
He frog-leaped Bob Fulton as the tournaments greatest try-scorer with his 42nd-minute effort against Wales, one of a staggering 14 tries piled on by the Bati.
It was a stunning effort after the lead‑up was dominated by talk that Hayne wanted out of the Titans and could be returning to Parramatta.
Potter said Hayne was "happy as Larry" in the Bati camp.
The Bati have racked up a whopping 130 points in their two wins to top their pool also featuring Italy and the USA.
The top team goes through to the quarters.
Fiji's final group match is against Italy in Canberra at 9.40pm Friday.
If Fiji beat Italy, they are likely to meet Tonga in the quarterfinals which will be held in Christchurch next week.
