All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has given Anton Lienert‑Brown, Liam Squire, TJ Perenara and Patrick Tuipulotu all ticks after the 36‑17 win over Argentina in the Rugby Championship this morning.
Hansen was cuffed with the contributions of those four starters, singling out Lienert‑Brown in his first dig at centre for praise.
Lienert‑Brown even had to lend a helping hand on the side of the scrum when the All Blacks were reduced to 14 men.
Meanwhile, Assistant coach Ian Foster felt Perenara, who assumed the No 9 jersey for the fifth time and led the haka in Aaron Smith's absence, repaid the faith too.
